Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are you licensed?

No. In Delaware you do not need a license unless the cost of the work is over $50,000.00. That being said, I cannot do any work in Maryland until I obtain a MHIC license. There are stiff penalties and jailtime if someone is caught. To see a list of license requirements please visit your city's permit office.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have a liability insurance policy and will be happy to provide you my certificate if you like.

What are your service rates or prices and do you work by the hour?

My service rates vary on different projects. I try to avoid hourly rates. When I estimate, I try and foresee, and include anything and everything during the tenure of the project. If there are unforeseeable issues or, changes to the work orders, we'll discuss, and determine, how the price and the project are affected as a result thereof.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept credit, debit, cash, and check. I will not accept payment until the work is complete and the client is satisfied. 

What are your hours?

My normal business hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am -5 pm.  

Do you provide free estimates?

Yes. I will try to estimate virtually by asking the client to send photos and descriptions of work to be done.  If needed, I will come to your property to provide the estimate.
